As a child, you may have prepared milk and cookies and leave it out for the big bellied man you are expecting to fall from the Chimney to deliver your gifts. You may have written letters and sent your wish list, hang your socks by the tree and looked out your window hoping to spot his reindeers or hear his cheerful laugh until you fall asleep waiting. You may have even sat up on his lap and listened to his stories. For ever child, Santa is real. Although things may have changed including your faith in Santa as you grow older, the least thing you want to do is to burst every child’s bubble, spoil their Christmas by questioning Santa.
Santa figurines are a good reminder that once you were a naïve and innocent child simply enjoying the days as it go by. It is a symbol that brings out memories about spending Christmas as a child and the joy of being one. It reminds you of the excitement and the giggles that you manage opening a gift or looking up the star sitting on top of your well decorated tree.
Christmas is for children but it does not mean you cannot enjoy it as an adult. Christmas is an excuse to feel young again and to act silly like you were as a child. You can do yourself as well as your friend who have grown as adults by bringing them the cheer, bearing Santa figurines as gifts so they can relive the memory with you.
